This introductory and practical workshop is designed specifically for those who wish either
to form or to further develop an organizational consultation practice based on a psychoanalytic perspective.
The workshop will be divided into three sections:
1. Defining who you are in relation to potential clients.
2. Which transitional, general and specific offerings to market at different stages of one’s practice.
3. Specific tools placed along a continuum from user friendly to specialized and the consulting
situations for which they are most appropriate.
Case material (including failures) will be referred to. When appropriate, professional issues such
as the role of theory in one’s stance, the phases of consultation to a system, the use of supervision, professional ethics and endings of consultations can be offered. A bibliography will be provided.
