Biography

I have been an organizational development consultant to a wide variety of private, public,
non-profit and professional organizations for over thirty years.

I supervise individuals and groups on-line and conduct workshops internationally on various socioanalytic methodologies. They include Organizational Role Analysis, Social Dream-Drawing, Organizational Observation, Social Photo-Matrix and Social Dreaming.

I have been a member of the International Society for the Psychoanalytic Study of Organizations (ISPSO) since 1988, served as its first female president (1997-1999) and its first Director
of Professional Development (2000-2006). I was a faculty member of the Program in Organizational Dynamics and Consulting at the William Alanson White Institute in New York (1993-1998)
and co-director of the Program of Organizational Dynamics sponsored by inscape-international in Cologne, Germany (2001-2010).  I was an Honorary International Trustee of the former Gordon Lawrence Foundation for the Promotion of Social Dreaming (2016-2019).

I am an honorary professor at the High School of Economics in Moscow,
where I teach master classes.

I have published extensively, and all my publications appear
on this web site. These publications have focused primarily on the practice of consultation and the utilization of socioanalytic methodologies in both organizational and research practice.

I am currently under contract with U.K. publishers Taylor and Francis for a book
on Social Dream-Drawing, which is scheduled to be published in 2021. I developed, extensively trialled and evaluated this method, which was the basis for my doctoral studies at the Centre for Psycho-Social Studies at the University of West England in Bristol, U.K.

I am an American, living and working in Germany.
My working languages are English and German.
